I've been going to Nelson for about twenty years now. HE IS THE MAN! I rely on him not only for his acumen in precise fit and tailoring skill, but also to pick out the fabrics, color, and outfits for me. He's essentially built out my entire wardrobe, from very fancy attire to very casual attire and everything in between. I'm constantly getting compliments on how I'm put together and I always point people in his direction. Can't recommend him highly enough. Looking forward to another twenty years of him making me look good!

Top tier! I had two weeks before my wedding date and Nelson and his team miraculously managed to make sure every groomsman was suited and booted. One stop shop, Excellent customer service , Quality threads! My new tailor!!

Nelson, the tailor that works his magic, did wonders for my two sports coats that I brought in to him for adjustments. The sports coats were my father's who he had passed down to me last time I saw him. He had not worn them much but they were of top quality. So I brought them into Nelson and although my father and I were of different sizes, he adjusted the sleeve, the length, the waist, the shoulders, and the hip. He did everything. And even was succinct in matching up the patterns on the seams! He did a phenomenal job and I will not be using anybody else in the future for any other tailoring in my fine clothing shopping! He was also very fair on price. I will be using him going forward for all my fine clothing goods!

We have known Nelson, the main tailor for many years. We used to tailor my husband’s clothes only in the stores of Bergdorf Goodman and Saks. When we saw how precise and meticulous Nelson is, we were happy and grateful for him to do the work. When you buy an expensive article of clothing, it’s important for the tailor to have a vision of how this article of clothing is supposed to fit. Nelson has precisely that on top of his very good taste to match shoes and accessories. If you have a special event or just everyday events, Nelson is your man. Very thorough and always has the order ready when promised. His expertise is next level. Go visit his shop in Matawan and see for yourself.

Nelson and his team are phenomenal at what they do. They were very accommodating for a wedding that I was attending as best man. There were some minor issues with the groom's suit that needed to be resolved in short order and Nelson took care of the groom despite having to attend to some personal matters. Personally if I could give Nelson 10 stars, I would. I will absolutely be coming back here for some custom bespoke tailoring. I feel safe trusting Nelson and his team with my needs. The clothing (and shoes!) are awesome and top notch here. Highly recommended. 💜

Nelson is the best!!!! I received my maid of honor dress for my sisters wedding and it was HUGE on me and I couldn’t get a smaller size because it wouldn’t have arrived in time for the wedding. I went to a different tailor first, whom I usually use, and she said I had to try to get a smaller size, how I must’ve been sized incorrectly and it’s too much for her to do. I started freaking out with the wedding a little over a month away, but then my best friend told me about Nelson!! Nelson did a beautiful job making my dress fit PERFECTLY. He even hand stitched the belt I ordered, onto the dress. Nelson is super accommodating, nice and talented. I will 100% be coming back to Nelson in the future, and recommend him to everyone. I am so happy with the way my dress fit and looked all thanks to Nelson!
